The biggest changes to&nbsp;the building were the result of adaptations throughout the 20th century when the building no longer fulfilled its original function of a&nbsp;seminary. After the removal of the last tenant in In 2017, a&nbsp;comprehensive renovation was necessary for further use of the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_7884-min-1800x1200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-623\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The investor considered further use of the building in accordance with the previous functions &#8211;&nbsp;as the seat of a&nbsp;church institution, supplemented by three apartments for guests. On the 1st floor, there is a&nbsp;reception accessible from the driveway and two offices with accessories. The courtyard also includes an open garage area and a&nbsp;historic underground passage that led to&nbsp;the walls in the past. On the 2nd floor, there are two smaller offices and the largest room in the building, usable as a&nbsp;large office, or a&nbsp;meeting or lecture room. The outdoor porch leads to&nbsp;the garden, which lies on the roof of the garage and on the vault of the historic passage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 3rd floor, the premises, also originally used for temporary accommodation, were converted into a&nbsp;two-room apartment. In addition, there are three office spaces<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"gallery-block carousel-wrap\"><div class=\"carousel-container\"><div class=\"owl-carousel\"><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/rezAA-428x303.jpg\" alt=\"obnova-imrichovho-seminara-rekonstrukcia-atrios\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/2NP-428x303.jpg\" alt=\"obnova-imrichovho-seminara-rekonstrukcia-2NP-atrios\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/4NP-428x303.jpg\" alt=\"obnova-imrichovho-seminara-rekonstrukcia-4NP-atrios\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"container post-detail\"><div class=\"main-content main-article-content\">\n\n\n<p>The biggest changes in the layout were recorded in the attic space of the 4th floor. To&nbsp;preserve the historic truss, including the tie beams, it was necessary to&nbsp;create a&nbsp;double floor on a&nbsp;wooden structure, whose space was used to&nbsp;run new wiring. In the space, originally used as a&nbsp;warehouse, two two-room apartments were created. Slim skylights were created to&nbsp;illuminate the rooms without interfering with the original rafters, which replaced small and unsuitable vicars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Construction-technical aspect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From the construction-technical point of view, in addition to&nbsp;the layout modifications, it was mainly the elimination of long-lasting problems of the construction and the rescue of historically valuable elements. The scope of work included the removal of unsuitable cement layers of plaster, remediation of moisture in historic masonry, new interior and exterior windows and doors according to&nbsp;period analogies, surface and material modifications in the interior and exterior.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"gallery-block carousel-wrap\"><div class=\"carousel-container\"><div class=\"owl-carousel\"><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_7845-428x642.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_7888-min-428x285.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_7925-min-428x285.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_7943-min-428x285.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_7994-min-428x285.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/atrios.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_8030-min-1-428x285.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><span class=\"item\"><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"container post-detail\"><div class=\"main-content main-article-content\">\n\n\n<p>The scope of restoration or arts and crafts restoration included several elements, such as repairing the stone staircase in its entirety, stone portals of the main gate, doors, windows, and entrance openings, wrought iron grilles on the windows of the street facade, or railings on the courtyard gallery. The authors of the renewal proposal are Ing. arch. Pavol \u010cechvala and Ing. arch. Bruno Welnitz.
